A contemporary zinc-clad kitchen and garden room extension to the rear of a traditional roadside two-storey cottage, with internal modifications to rectify issues with circulation, space, and a split-level ground floor.

The design of the extension also addresses the lack of connection between the cottage’s occupants and their back garden, while dealing with problematic ground levels as the garden slopes up to the back of the plot.
